Asian Gambling Landmark – The Venetian Macau

If you’ve ever had the honor of visiting Macau, you definitely could not have missed one of Asia’s gambling landmark’s – the Venetian Macau. This resort hotel is controlled by the Las Vegas Sands and was the first uber-casino to grace the Cotoi Strip in the enclave. The casino itself is a massive 546,000 square feet – large enough to hold NINETY 747 jumbo jets, and boasts a whopping 3,000 gambling machines. If you’re in the mood for poker or other table games, there is no shortage – 870 tables grace the resort.

Gamblers travel from near and far to enjoy the amenities of the Venetian Macau, and there are 3,000 hotel rooms to accommodate the masses. All guests are accommodated on floors 7 to 38.  If money isn’t an issue, why not book the Cielo Suite at the Venetian Hotel, which affords you 3,830 feet of absolute luxury? This royal retreat includes a spa room, dining room facilities, a jacuzzi, Bvlgari amenities and plasma TVs.  In addition, you’ll be pampered with a limousine transfer to the hotel on arriving at the airport, exclusive check in, complimentary floral arrangements and an espresso coffee maker.

The casino itself is definitely worth a visit – even if you can’t afford to actually stay at this resort. There are four distinct gambling areas, known as the Imperial House, the Red Dragon, the Phoenix and the Golden Fish.  If you’re a premium guest, you will be upgraded to the Praiza Club, an exclusive gaming club for VIP’s, which offers members their own lobby and reception, as well as private rooms.

There is never a dull moment at the Venetian, thanks to the huge array of international shops, plenty of street performers to keep you enthralled and even the opportunity to take a ride in a real gondola to fit in the with the Italian theme. There are a staggering 30 different restaurants and bars to choose from, which serve all types of dishes, ranging from Japanese to Chinese, international and western.

Families are welcome at the Venetian, and there are plenty of activities for children. From a multitude of swimming pools, to mini golf courses and other rides, kids will experience a holiday of their lifetime!
